Full Spectrum vs. Broad Spectrum?
Full spectrum is a whole plant product. In some cases it is processed having no chemicals & may still have organic plant matter in the product. It is the best representation of the plants and contains the most cannabinoids and terpenes. This has the most potent entourage effect.
Broad spectrum is the whole plant with the THC removed. This is ideal for those that are concerned about drug testing or are sensitive to THC.
-
What is Distillate?
Distillate is a product that has been distilled to only contain cannabinoids. Distillates naturally have no taste, flavor or aroma because they have no terpenes. Without terpenes the product lacks the therapeutic benefits of the entourage effect.

Which one is best for you?
Our bodies are very unique and so are our cannabis needs. The only way to find out is to experiment. We are happy to help you create a plan and navigate this journey!

Indica, sativa, hybrid what’s the difference?
Rather than being hard defined categories, these terms refer simply to the effect, from sedating to stimulating, that you can reasonably expect to experience.
- *Indica-sedating
- *Sativa-stimulating
- *Hybrid-somewhere in between
This is based on the chemical makeup of the plant, specifically the terpenes. For instance strains with more Myrcene will be more sedating, more ‘indica’ leaning. Strains containing a lot of Limonene are more invigorating, more ‘sativa’-like. Most strains fall somewhere in the middle.
We understand the physical and therapeutic effects of the terpenes in each of our strains and can help you curate your experience or steer clean of unwanted side effects! Come by or schedule a free consultation with us. Want more cannabis info?

So what are terpenes?
They are organic hydrocarbons that provide aroma and flavor to cannabis and other plants. They protect the plant from predators, act as a sunscreen & attract pollinators.
Simply put, terpenes are the ‘essential oils’ of the plant. There are over 400 and they are found in all plants. We know the benefits essential oils offer our bodies and terpenes harness that power. Terpenes are responsible for the aroma, taste & effect of our cannabis. When that power is combined with cannabinoids like T H C & C B D, we get a synergistic effect called the entourage effect that balances our bodies and puts us into a state of homeostasis.

What are cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids are ligands or fat molecules in the cannabis plant. There are over 100 (THC, CBD, CBN, CBG to name a few). Cannabinoids act directly and indirectly with the cells in our body. They each do different things for the body to activate, slow or shut down receptors in our endocannabinoid system with a goal of creating balance or homeostasis in the body.
-
Endocannabinoid System?
Our endocannabinoid system is a complex messaging system within our bodies. It is our body’s central regulatory system that affects every other system in our body to create balance. (We have them and so do our pets!) Receptors are found in our nervous system, cardiovascular system, reproductive system, urinary tract and gastrointestinal system. Cannabis works directly and indirectly with this system to create homeostasis in the body. Let us help balance your endocannabinoid system!

What are Endocannabinoids?
Endocannabinoids are cannabinoids (fat molecules) that are made within our body! They work with our endocannabinoid system to balance our bodies. If our body doesn’t have the right resources, it cannot create endocannabinoids. If we become deficient in endocannabinoids, our body is no longer in balance and is susceptible to disease and illness.
